The Beachwood Playground

If you’re looking for a playground that actually keeps kids busy for more than 20 minutes, this one delivers. The zipline alone is worth the trip — kids line up for it repeatedly — but there’s also a solid climbing structure, a big slide tower, swings for all ages, a sandbox, and musical equipment that younger ones go absolutely nuts for. Shade is everywhere, which if you’ve survived a July afternoon at a sun-baked playground, you know is not something to take for granted. Parents can see the whole space easily from the picnic tables, so you’re not constantly chasing anyone down. It runs well for kids from toddlers up through age 12, and honestly, it’s one of the better setups in the area.
