Ransom Township Playground

If you live around Clarks Summit and haven’t made it out here yet, you’re missing a solid spot. There’s creek access that the kids absolutely lose their minds over, and it’s the kind of place where you can actually let them roam a bit without hovering the whole time. Pack a lunch — the picnic tables and charcoal grills get real use here, not just for show. The walking path loops through nicely with the forest close by, and the open field gives everyone room to spread out. It stays clean, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every township park in the area.
