Fishing park

If you’re local, you already know this spot. It’s one of those low-key places where people actually show up with lawn chairs and coolers and just hang out by the water for hours. The fishing is the main draw — bring your rod and don’t overthink it. Kids, grandparents, teenagers killing time — somehow it works for all of them. Dowagiac doesn’t have a ton of places where you can just sit by the water and do nothing, so this one gets used.
