Right on the edge of Chautauqua Lake, this spot has the kind of laid-back lakefront vibe that’s hard to find without a boat. The open grass field gives kids plenty of room to run while parents actually get to sit and enjoy the view — which, honestly, is worth the trip alone. Ducks hang around nearby, so pack some bread if you’re bringing little ones. Parking is free and easy, which matters more than people admit when you’ve got a carload of kids.
