Honestly, if you grew up in Saugerties, you probably remember the old wooden playground that used to stand here — and that memory is going to make this replacement sting a little. What’s here now is small and pretty basic, the kind of setup that feels like a placeholder rather than an actual destination. It gets the job done for a quick stop with very young kids, but don’t expect much. Locals who knew what was here before still haven’t really gotten over it.
