Pierce Memorial Field

One of East Providence’s go-to spots for just about everything — pickup basketball, soccer, walking the path by the pond, or letting the kids loose on the splash pad when it’s hot out. The open grass fields are big enough that there’s always room, whether it’s a casual Sunday thing or one of the community events they hold here (the fireworks draw a serious crowd). Restrooms are actually kept up, which, if you’ve been to enough parks, you know isn’t something to take for granted. Parking is free and there’s plenty of it, and the facilities are wheelchair accessible throughout. Honestly, it’s the kind of place that works for pretty much everyone in the family.
