Friends Good Will Splashpad

Right on the edge of South Haven’s beach, this pirate-themed splashpad is basically a summer lifesaver for parents with little ones who aren’t quite ready for Lake Michigan. The water features are low-key and shallow — totally manageable for toddlers — and there’s a sandbox to keep the non-splashers busy too. Benches and picnic tables are spread around so you can actually sit and watch your kids without standing the whole time, and the restrooms are clean, which honestly matters more than people admit. Grab food from one of the nearby snack spots and you’ve got a solid few hours figured out. Best for the 1-to-7 crowd, and the accessible design means it works for a lot of different kids.
