Hawarden City Park

Kids around here go straight for the zipline — it’s the first thing they spot and the last thing they want to leave. The park sits right near the swim beach and pond, so you can easily make a whole day of it without driving anywhere else. There’s a bike track, a walking path, and a big open field, plus grills and picnic tables if you want to actually eat somewhere other than your car. Restrooms are clean and well-kept, which honestly isn’t something you take for granted at a public park. Locals treat this place like a backyard — and honestly, it kind of is.
