Locals in Blasdell know this one well, and for good reason — JFK Playground is genuinely well-kept in a way that a lot of parks around here just aren’t. The shade trees and covered seating make a real difference on hot afternoons, and there are picnic tables if you want to actually stay a while. It sits in a quiet neighborhood, so you’re not dealing with a lot of traffic noise or crowds. A solid pick for a relaxed family afternoon that doesn’t require a whole production.
