The enclosed play area is a lifesaver if you’ve got little runners who don’t stop for anything — you can actually sit on one of the shaded benches and relax without hovering the whole time. Swings are always a hit, and the water feature gives kids something extra to mess around with on hot days. There’s real shade here, which honestly puts it ahead of a lot of town playgrounds in the area. The pool is a big draw too, especially for swim lessons in the summer. Equipment could use some updating, but families from Rutland keep coming back, which says something.
