The Grove at Village Park

On a hot Wisconsin summer day, this is honestly one of the better spots in Sussex to cool the kids off — the splash pad gets a solid workout from June through August. The padded surfacing makes a real difference if you’ve got little ones who are still figuring out the whole balance thing. Restrooms are on-site, which sounds basic but saves the day more often than you’d think. Walk the path around the park while the kids play and you’ve actually got yourself a decent outing for everyone.
