Amesbury Town Park

If you’re local to Amesbury and haven’t made this park a regular stop, you’re genuinely missing out. The playscape is one of the bigger ones you’ll find in the area — slides, climbing structures, swings — and it holds up well for kids anywhere from toddlers to the older ones who think they’re too cool for playgrounds. The splash pad gets busy on hot days for good reason, and there’s enough shade and picnic space that parents can actually settle in instead of just hovering. Throw in a pond, walking paths along the tree line, and a basketball court, and you’ve got a park that earns a full afternoon without anyone getting bored. Parking is reasonable and the restrooms are there when you need them — small thing, but it matters.
