Awbrey Reservoir Off-Leash Area

If you live on the west side of Bend, this spot is probably already in your rotation. The off-leash area draws the dog crowd, but there’s a climbing structure and a big open grass field that keeps kids busy too — honestly it works well for the whole family at once. Walk the path and you’ll get views of the reservoir with the forest sitting right behind it, which feels pretty removed from town even though you’re not far from anything. Bring a lunch, grab a picnic table, and let the afternoon sort itself out.
