Kingston Memorial Centre

The Memorial Centre is one of those spots that pulls in pretty much everyone — skaters, dog walkers, parents with strollers, and folks just cutting through on their lunch break. The bike track and walking path loop around a solid stretch of open grass, and there’s enough shade to actually sit comfortably on a hot Kingston afternoon. The custom skatepark gets real use, not just from kids — you’ll see older riders out there too. It doubles as a fairground and event space through the warmer months (Ribfest, craft beer festivals, that kind of thing), so the layout is more spacious than your average park. Clean bathrooms on-site, which honestly makes a bigger difference than people admit.
