The sandbox is honestly the main draw here — kids in that 2-8 range could spend hours just digging around in it. Being fully enclosed is a big deal in Lake Placid, where you’re often juggling keeping an eye on little ones while also just trying to catch your breath for a second. Parents actually get to sit and relax, which isn’t something you can say about every playground in the area. It stays noticeably clean, which locals definitely appreciate.
