George Rogers Park Playground

The Willamette River right there in the background makes this one feel different from your average neighborhood playground — it’s got actual scenery. Kids can bounce between the climbing structure and the sandbox, which tends to keep the littler ones busy for way longer than you’d expect. Pack a lunch, because the picnic tables get used for a reason — this is genuinely one of the better spots in Lake Oswego to just hang out for a few hours. There’s also a basketball court if you’ve got older kids who need something to do while the younger ones dig in the sand.
