Killer Hill

If you live in Mound, you already know this place by name — and yes, the sledding hill absolutely earns it. Winter is when Killer Hill really shines, but the rest of the year there’s enough going on to make it worth the trip: tennis courts, a baseball diamond, and a winding path that’s genuinely pleasant for a walk or a dog run. The open grass field gives kids room to actually move around, which sounds obvious but isn’t always a given at smaller parks. Restrooms on site, all ages welcome — it’s a solid everyday park that locals keep coming back to.
