Tyler’s Playground

This one’s a little different from your typical playground, and honestly, that’s what makes it worth the trip. Tyler’s Playground in Merrill is built around mental health awareness — there’s a free little library and a small food pantry on-site, which says a lot about what this community actually cares about. The walking path takes you down toward a pavilion with views of the Wisconsin River that’ll make you stop and just… breathe for a minute. It’s the kind of place where you don’t have to be a kid to find something meaningful here — locals of all ages show up, and it shows. If you haven’t been, you’re missing one of the more quietly special spots in town.
