Bethany Creek Park

The zipline alone makes this place worth the trip — it’s genuinely one of the better ones you’ll find at a neighborhood park in the area. Kids from toddlers up through the elementary crowd all seem to find something here, whether that’s the hill slide, the basketball court, or just tearing around the open grass field. The covered picnic tables mean you’re not scrambling for your car the second it drizzles, which in Oregon is basically a requirement. Restrooms are consistently clean, the walking path loops nicely if you want to stretch your legs, and there are trails nearby if you want to make a longer afternoon of it. Low-key, never feels overcrowded, and backs up close enough to the creek and trees that it has a little more character than your average suburban park.
