Pioneer Park Historical Complex – Opening for the Season, May 24th!

Opens for the season May 24th, so mark your calendar if you’re local. This free complex is genuinely one of the better ways to spend a few hours in Rhinelander — you’ve got historical buildings, a model railroad that the kids (and honestly most adults) get a kick out of, and docents who actually know their stuff about the CCC and regional railroad history. Bring comfortable shoes because there’s a walking path and open lawn to wander between exhibits. Parking is easy, admission is free, and it draws a solid crowd for community events throughout the summer.
