Rotary Playground at Kiwanis Park

Kiwanis Park is one of those spots locals keep coming back to, and honestly the climbing structure is the main draw — kids of all ages seem to find something to tackle on it. The shade trees do real work out here, especially in the Yakima summer heat, and the picnic tables underneath them actually stay comfortable mid-afternoon. It’s quieter than you’d expect for a park this well-equipped, which parents tend to appreciate. Throw in a solid open grass field and you’ve got a full afternoon covered without much effort.
