Dragon Hollow Playground

If you’ve got kids between 2 and 10, this is honestly one of the best spots in Missoula to burn a few hours. The whole place is built around a castle-and-dragon theme, and it’s done well enough that even the adults walking the path around the perimeter don’t feel like they’re just standing around waiting. There’s a solid mix of equipment — slides, a climbing structure, a maze, musical pieces — plus a wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round that actually gets used, which says a lot about how the design was thought through. The whole area is fully fenced, so younger kids can move around without you shadowing their every step, and the sightlines are good enough that you can grab a bench or picnic table and actually keep eyes on them. Restrooms and parking on-site, which sounds basic but makes a real difference when you’re wrangling a toddler.
