Chelsea Park

If you live anywhere near 27th Street, you already know Chelsea Park is basically the neighborhood’s backyard. The basketball court stays busy most days, and the soccer field gets serious use on weekends — this isn’t a park where people just stroll through and leave. Runners and walkers claim the path early in the morning before the crowds show up. There are enough shade trees and benches that you can actually sit down and recover between activities, which sounds obvious but isn’t a given in this city. Restrooms on-site seal the deal for families with little kids.
