Herron Playground

Summer days at Herron Playground basically run themselves — the water feature keeps the little ones busy for hours, and the sprinkler setup actually works for toddlers, not just the bigger kids. It’s one of those Philly spots where you can park yourself on a bench and not feel like you’re sitting in a disaster zone. The restrooms are genuinely clean, which, honestly, puts this place ahead of half the playgrounds in the city. Older kids usually migrate to the basketball court while the younger ones do their thing in the water, so the whole family has somewhere to be. Good spot for ages 0-12 without anyone getting bored.
