Fairlington Playground

The zipline alone makes this place worth the trip — kids lose their minds over it, and honestly it never gets old to watch. Fairlington does a good job splitting things up so toddlers aren’t getting mowed down by older kids, and the sandbox keeps the little ones busy long enough for parents to actually sit down at the picnic tables. The climbing structure is solid and modern, not the rusted-out stuff you find at half the parks in the area. Tack on a soccer field and a walking path and you’ve got a solid few hours sorted for the whole family.
