The pirate ship climbing structure here is genuinely well done — kids in the 1-10 range go absolutely nuts for it, and it’s big enough that a handful of families can all be there at once without it feeling crowded. Swings, solid shade, picnic tables, and a wide open grass field mean you’re not just killing 20 minutes — you can actually make an afternoon of it. The equipment stays clean and in good shape, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every park in San Diego. Parking is easy, the neighborhood is quiet, and the whole setup just works.
