Gateway Discovery Playground

This place gets overlooked by people on the west side, which honestly keeps it from getting too crowded. The sandbox is legitimately one of the bigger ones in the city — kids will be in there for an hour easy — and the swings are the full-size kind that adults can actually use without feeling ridiculous. There’s a skate park on site that draws the older crowd, so it works for families where you’ve got a 4-year-old *and* a 14-year-old to entertain at the same time. Parking is right there, restrooms are on-site, and the open grass field gives younger ones room to run when they’re done with the structures.
