This Bronx spot has really come into its own since the renovations — it’s one of those parks where you can actually spend a full afternoon without running out of things to do. Kids ages 2 to 12 get a solid climbing structure to work with, and the layout keeps the little ones from getting trampled by older kids playing basketball or kicking around on the soccer field. When the heat kicks in, the water sprinklers are basically a lifesaver — half the neighborhood shows up on those days. Benches and restrooms mean parents aren’t stuck standing around or making emergency runs home, which honestly matters more than people give credit for.
