Curtis Park

Shade is honestly the main reason people keep coming back to this one. Salt Lake summers are brutal, and Curtis Park has enough mature trees that you’re not just standing there squinting while your kids play. It’s one of those spots where you can actually sit and hang out instead of counting down the minutes until everyone melts. If you’ve been to other parks in the city and left with a sunburn, you’ll appreciate what this place gets right.
