Dunedin’s heat is no joke, and this spot actually gets that right — there’s real shade over the seating areas, not just a token umbrella bolted to a bench. Kids between 2 and 12 have enough to work with between the slides and swings, and the equipment is genuinely clean and well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every playground around here. You get glimpses of the water while you’re watching the little ones, which makes the whole thing feel a bit more like an outing than just a pit stop. Parking and restrooms on-site means you’re not scrambling, and that matters when you’ve got a toddler and a full beach bag.
