Berkner Park Playground

If you live in Richardson and haven’t made Berkner Park your regular spot yet, you’re missing out. The play structure is genuinely solid — there’s a maze and tunnels that keep older kids occupied way longer than you’d expect, plus the climbing setup has enough challenge to actually hold their attention. Shade trees and covered seating mean you’re not melting on a bench in July, which matters a lot around here. Younger kids and older ones have their own separate zones, so nobody’s getting knocked over by a ten-year-old on a mission. Throw in a soccer field and a walking path, and honestly, it’s the kind of park you end up at twice a week without really planning to.
