The climbing structure covers the basics, and the shade trees around the edges do a solid job of keeping things cool on a hot Vermont summer afternoon. Picnic tables and benches make it easy to actually sit down and stay a while, which not every playground around Colchester bothers to get right. Good spot for all ages, and the shaded seating means parents aren’t just standing around baking in the sun.
