Heritage Springs – Splash Pad

If you’re local to Flower Mound and haven’t made it out to Heritage Springs yet, you’re missing one of the better free options in the area. The splash pad is the real draw — there’s a covered section that keeps the sun off while kids run the winding water path, which is honestly a lifesaver in a Texas summer. Everything’s fenced in, so younger kids (the pad is suited for ages 2-12) can’t wander off while you’re grabbing something from the picnic table. Restrooms, benches, shaded seating, and solid parking round it out — no scrambling for basics once you get there. Free entry makes it an easy yes on a hot weekday when you need somewhere to burn off energy.
