The upgrades they did here made a real difference — this spot went from forgettable to actually worth the trip. Four swings keep the little ones happy, and the critter sculptures on the logs give it some personality you don’t usually see at a city playground. It sits right along the bike track, so it’s easy to roll up and stay a while. Pack a lunch because there’s no shortage of picnic tables, and with parking close by and restrooms on-site, you’re not scrambling for anything.
