Honestly, for a neighborhood park in Anaheim, Modjeska punches above its weight. The shade trees alone make it worth the trip — it stays cool enough that you can actually sit at the picnic tables without melting, which isn’t something you can say about a lot of parks around here. Kids between 2 and 12 will find plenty to keep them busy between the slides, swings, and climbing structure, and nothing feels worn out or sketchy. Restrooms are on-site, which parents will appreciate more than the kids do. It’s a clean, no-frills spot that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
