Brookvale Neighborhood Park

If you’ve got a toddler and you’re tired of chasing them across wide-open spaces, this little park in Fremont is genuinely one of the better options for that age group. The enclosed play area is the big selling point — you’re not constantly scanning the horizon wondering where your two-year-old wandered off to. There are slides sized right for little ones, and the shade trees actually do their job, which matters a lot once summer hits in the East Bay. The open grass field gives kids room to run around after they’re done with the equipment. Nothing fancy, but for families with kids under five, it checks the right boxes.
