Wright Park playground

The pond is honestly half the draw here — kids get way more excited spotting turtles and ducks than they do about most actual playground equipment. It’s a proper old Tacoma park with big trees, open grass, and enough going on that little ones aren’t bored after ten minutes. Squirrels and crows are basically part of the furniture. Restrooms are on-site, which if you have a toddler you already know is worth mentioning. Best for the 2-10 crowd, especially if yours are into animals and room to roam.
