Aztec Park Playground

The equipment here is genuinely solid — not the sad, sun-bleached kind you find at half the parks in Scottsdale. Woodchip surface keeps things a little softer underfoot, which parents tend to appreciate. It’s a small playground, no question, but the shaded seating and ramadas make a real difference when it’s 105 degrees out. Parking is right there next to it, so you’re not hauling a stroller across a massive lot. Throw in a soccer field and open grass nearby and you’ve got enough to keep kids of pretty much any age busy for a while.
