Beacon Park Playground Treehouse

The treehouse structure here is genuinely one of the cooler setups you’ll find in Irvine — it’s not just a basic platform with a slide bolted on. Younger kids (we’re talking 2-5) have their own dedicated area so they’re not getting bulldozed by older ones on the climbing structures, and the rope course keeps the bigger kids actually challenged for more than five minutes. Shade trees help a lot in the summer, which, if you’ve spent any time in Orange County in August, you know matters more than almost anything else. The basketball court and open grass field mean you can make a whole afternoon out of it without running out of things to do. Restrooms on site, walking path around the park — it’s the kind of place where you don’t feel like you’re roughing it just to let your kids burn off some energy.
