East Wilmington Greenbelt Park

If you’re in the Wilmington area and haven’t checked out the Greenbelt since the renovation, it’s worth swinging by. The kids’ play area got a serious upgrade, and there’s a water feature that’ll keep the little ones busy while you grab a shaded bench and actually relax for a minute. Families tend to claim the BBQ and picnic tables on weekends, so get there early if you want a good spot. The soccer field and basketball court see a lot of use, but the open grass and walking path make it easy to find your own corner of the park. It’s a genuinely clean, low-key spot — the kind of neighborhood park you’d actually want to live near.
