Locals know this open field next to Northrup Park gets good use on weekends — kids running around, impromptu soccer games, the usual Boerne outdoor crowd. It’s nothing fancy, but that’s kind of the point. Plenty of room to spread out, kick a ball, or just let the little ones burn off some energy without being crammed into a tiny play area. Throw some snacks in a bag and you’ve got yourself a solid afternoon.
