Willow canyon

If you’re making the trek up Mount Lemmon anyway, Willow Canyon is worth a stop — especially if your kids are the type who’d rather scramble over rocks than sit on a swing set. It’s right near Rose Canyon Lake, so the scenery alone is worth it, and the forest trails give little ones plenty to explore. Just know going in that this isn’t a manicured playground situation — it’s more about getting outside and letting nature do the heavy lifting. Not wheelchair accessible, so plan accordingly.
