Kingsley Lake Park

If you’ve got toddlers or small kids, this little park near Kingsley Lake is worth knowing about. The shade trees actually do their job here — it stays noticeably cooler than a lot of other spots in the area, which matters a lot in Florida. There’s a free little library box on site, which is a nice touch, and the picnic setup makes it easy to stretch a visit into a proper afternoon out. It’s quiet, it’s clean, and the neighborhood feel keeps it from getting overcrowded.
