Right next to Childress Fair Park, this spot is one of those places locals just end up at without much planning. There’s a solid open grass field where kids can actually run around without bumping into everything, plus picnic tables if you want to sit and watch them do it. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s accessible and genuinely easy to spend a few hours here — especially with food vendors close by so you’re not scrambling when someone gets hungry.
