TVA Wheeler Dam Public Park

Right on the Tennessee River down in Wheeler Dam Village, this park has one of the better backdrops you’ll find anywhere in the area — the Wheeler Dam itself is genuinely impressive up close. It’s the kind of spot locals bring out-of-town guests to show off, partly for the views and partly because it’s just a solid place to spend an afternoon. The grounds are accessible, so it works for the whole family regardless of mobility needs.
