Right off Old Dawsonville Road, this little spot is one of those places locals actually use rather than just drive past. The slides keep younger kids entertained, and the shade trees make a real difference on a hot Georgia afternoon — you’re not just standing there baking while the kids play. Parking is easy, which sounds like a small thing until you’ve wrestled a stroller somewhere with none. Calvin Farmer Park is close by too, so it’s easy to make a whole outing out of it.
