Placida doesn’t get much foot traffic, which is exactly what makes this little park worth knowing about. There’s a sandbox for the kids, shaded seating and picnic tables for the adults, and a walking path that loops past some genuinely pretty ponds. The shade trees actually do their job here — it stays cooler than you’d expect. Restrooms on site too, which matters more than people admit when you’re spending a few hours outside.
