Honestly, this one’s a miss if you’re looking for somewhere to let the kids run around — there’s no actual playground here. It’s right by the Joplin Welcome Center off I-44, so it makes sense people end up stopping here on a road trip, but don’t count on finding any equipment or green space to speak of. If you’re rolling through Joplin and need a real park, you’re better off heading further into town where there are actual spots worth your time.
