Out near the Sheep’s Cave Wilderness Trailhead, this little playground is a solid stop if you’ve got kids who aren’t quite ready for a full trail hike but still want to burn some energy outside. The forest setting does a lot of the heavy lifting — there’s something about being surrounded by trees that makes even basic play equipment feel like an adventure for the 3-to-10 crowd. It’s accessible too, which honestly isn’t a given at trailside spots like this. Pack a lunch, let the kids play, then decide if you want to poke around the trailhead before heading home.
