Playground

If you’re heading out to Meramec State Park for the day, this playground is a solid spot to factor into your plans. It sits right near the Fisher Cave and Walking Fern Trailhead, so you can let the kids burn off some energy before or after hitting the trails. The accessible design means it works for a wider range of families, which isn’t always a given at parks this far out in the woods. There’s a walking path on site too, nice if you want to keep moving without committing to a full hike.
